We gave Hal the week off from answering questions and decided to do a little asking of our own. We polled a few of our own kids to see what it is about their dads that make them top notch. Here’s what they said,

Brendan Kaplan - My dad does magic and smells like chocolate.

Talia Miller – My dad thinks about me and he loves my heart.

Sam Fischer – My dad feels soft and cozy, like a bed.

Henry Fischer – My dad takes me to McKinley Park with him to exercise.

Bre Kaplan – My dad kisses me and hugs me every night and he plays with me.

Brandon Runkel – My dad does funny stuff, like saying, “Hey Buddy, pull my finger.”

Hannah Runkel – My dad makes funny faces with his double chin but then he can get all serious and cuddle with me when I’m upset.

So, to these fathers who work hard every day making the world a better place to live, we salute you. Thank you for dedicating your life to a message which will bring all fathers closer to their children. And above all else, thank you for showing your own children how much they mean to you....even if that involves chocolate and finger pulling….whatever works.
